My dad killed this one off of a wheat field last november. Taxi scored it just by looking high 160's we didnt get it official what yal think he is? 13 point 4x6 with 3 points on left side all about 3 to 4 inches sticking straight back.

Is his left G2 bladed? Or, are there 2 points, there?

    If it's bladed.....I'll stick to <140" - gross.

Great deer. And, I could easily be wrong.

    Somebody post up a 150" 8-pointer......."for reference".

A 150" 8 pointer is the gold standard. NO OFFENSE AT ALL, meant....but your dad's deer (while he is a dandy) ain't no 160"'er.

    OK.....15 sec. search for a 150" 8-pointer.....

Unless he has 30 inch mainbeams, I'll stick with 139. I gave him the 24 inch wide spread and 18" on the right and 22 on the left. If you say he has 3 points that we can't see that are 3 to 4 inches, then he might make 150 gross, but I'd bet it would be stretching it. All that said, he's a great buck and would get an arrow from me 100 times out of 100. Congrats.

I agree with the others he is not a 160 inch deer. No way. But he is a shooter none the less. As stated score him yourself info provided and let us know what he scores. Nice Deer!

I got right in the low 140" range, but I can't see the extra junk you were talking about. With that he may get to the high 140's gross. Great looking buck.

    I actually came up with 138" - gross (and I think I was generous). The photo I posted is a dead-on 150" 8-pointer.

In all honesty, just rough score it yourself, it's not worth being OFFICIALLY scored, because it's never gonna make the "book." Be it the P&Y or B&C, that deer isn't symmetrical enough to make the book. Nice deer, got lots of character, but beyond that, he's not a "record book" deer. But if the shooter is pleased with the animal, then that's really all that matters....:tu:

    Hell no....lol.

In my woods, I've never seen a deer over 110-115".
