Anyone ever use any do it yourself outfitters or cattle ranches with good results at a reasonable price? Looking at a few do it yourself places you pay to hunt by the day. I'm wanting to take my wife to kill a decent buck next year with her bow. Heart Of Texas Bowhunting, First Point Bowhunting | Uvalde, TX, and Brushy Hill Ranch - South Texas' Best Day Lease Bowhunting Ranch - Whitetail Deer, Hogs, Boar & Turkey Hunting are the 3 places I've looked at and seem reasonable, has anyone been to either one of these places or prefer another place It would really be helpful. Thanks

Last spring I went to brushy hill for two days. I was pretty happy with the place. Didn't have any trouble finding turkeys or hogs. Was only able to pull it together on a hog though

I have a friend that hunted the heart of texas bowhunting and enjoyed it but you have to shoot 120+ my wife never killed anything over 5 points she might miss judge lol heck I might miss judge with excitement for her. The brushyhill and first point have more of a better range in rack choices for as inches. But not sure if they have the deer like Heart of Texas

I was down there in the spring time but yeah seen plenty of deer. Drury's have been hunting down there a pretty good amount the last few years it seems if that says anything at all.

Well a little hard to tell since they just had nubs and the body size down there is completely different from the mid west. I was running and gunning most of the time but had plenty of deer in that range

Booked a hunt for my wife yesterday at the Louisiana sportsman show we are going with The Heart of Texas bowhunting. Talked with the guys there and they are some good group of people. For the price its very hard to beat. You get 1 buck 120+, 2 does, 1 axes buck, 1 axes doe, turkey, and any hogs that you see all for $900. I've been looking around all in texas and I cant find a pretty place. Go check them out and call kevin he will answer all your questions.

How many days is it for 900$? Or is that just for the tags?
