We are putting the Cancooker Jr to the test tonight. Here is what we did.
    _MG_3303.jpg

Alissa used the accessory tray in the cancooker so nothing is touching the bottom.
Our veggies include: Red Potatoes, Corn Cobs, Red and Yellow Bell Peppers, Carrots, and Mushrooms.

Then we added the meat, which included turkey breast from my Tom featured in Episode 2 Season4 and beef stew meat. Then we used MoonShine Shortys Grandpa's Mesquite Rub (very good!) and a can of Keystone Light and a small can of Coors (garbage beer) and a splash of worcestershire (try spelling that without google or the bottle! Ha ha)

We will have to let you know how things go. 40 mins to go!

Everything turned out great! No game taste or tough breast from my wild turkey we had in there. The only thing we will have to work on in my opinion is a little more seasoning and maybe try it without the tray in it or a different fluid. Seemed the food was dryer than I was expecting. More cooking to come!

Nice Trevor! I've used my CanCooker Jr a couple times on the stove and it's worked great. Like you I found after my first couple times I needed a lot more seasoning than I was using. I also started seasoning everything in layers as I put it in to make sure it all gets some, rather that just dumping it on the top.

I've tried a few different beers now, but prefer simply using water after a few trial runs.

One other thing you can do to add some more flavor (and calories unfortunately) is put 1/2 stick of butter in there. It seems to help keep things moist and definitely kicks up the flavor a few notches.

I always finish mine with a full stick of butter. Try the cajun seasoning from can cooker. I always use half cobs of corn on the bottom to keep all the other foods from burning to the bottom. Stand them upright and try to break them all the same size. Andouille sausage on the top layer can give a little spice to all the foods underneath since a lot of the oils cook out of it. No matter what you put in it seems to come out great!

    So Trevor...

When you say, "garbage beer," you mean the Coors AND the Keystone, right? I just want to clarity...
