Test broadhead sharpness

    How do you guys test sharpness

    It should slice a piece of paper without much effort at all. I rarely test mine, I just run the sharpener over them if they've been shot.

    should shave finger skin right off...slicks do it way too easily if I'm not careful. :)

    When I go to single bevel ones...I have a feeling I'll need to become competent in the re-sharpening game, I just replace slicks blades as long as ferrule is good.

    So they shave hair with ease. Single bevels are a ***** ty!! I'm still learning there yet.

    Yeah, alot my buddies have made the switch over to the Alaskan Bowhunting single bevel heads and they all say, "Things are scary sharp but once used are a ****** to sharpen back to that degree" Get good at it, so i can ship you mine in the future :) :lol:

    Lol! I use outback supremes and their angle is different then the Alaskans. I'm guessing there using a G5 sharpener or whatever there called? I can't because of the angle. I'm doing/trying to sharpen everything by hand. Sucky!! Lol
