I think that came from the military. It’s in reference to heavy weapons systems/ belt fed systems in an ambush or assault. Meaning let that gun run and kill. lol it has no place in a bow or even single shot weapon. You see young guys on belt fed weapons just be timid and only shoot like 3-5 rounds.
