Do not get me wrong. I am all for getting the young un's out there. Get them out in the woods, get them hunting and show them what is out there. It sure beats video games. But why, why set the youth hunt on halloween? Tennessee's youth hunt is Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. That is one night I love to be out in the woods. I don't have any kids that are young enough to participate. Does anyone have any [kids] that they can donate just so I can be allowed in the woods?...lol. I know I couldn't hunt, but just being out in the woods would be good enough. Darn it all...lol.

Would you rather have it then or before bow season even starts? Ours get to go out the weekend before bow season starts and use rifles to shoot them which is great except it is like a huge warning that hunting season is starting if you ask me. A lot of big bucks get taken then too according to the newspapers.
