Oh no! Here it comes again, the end of deer season is right around the corner. It that time of year again, depression will be setting in again, & loading up on the Prozac and wife is saying Alleluah! The only good thing to look forward to is the annual GTG! Can you believe it, another year gone. Although I can't complain. I've done extremely well with 3 deer taken. 2-bow, 1-gun. But man I'm sure gonna miss the woods. Maybe shed hunting will help me out. I know there's ice fishing, but it's not the same. How are you guys gonna deal with all the spare time on your hands now?
Yeah man. It sucks. I am still buckless. I have been off all week so the transition into no hunting will either be easier or harder. We can still hunt till Jan 10th, but I will be done Jan 3rd.
It ain't over till it's over. Starting Friday I am going to give it one last hoorah and try and put down a buck. We can hunt till the 15th but I will peobably be done around the 6th or 7th. After that, it's back to school and finding a new job. I'll just keep shooting the bow and dreaming about next fall.....Oh yea, and spring turkeys :d
Yeah, this season flew by, im heading out this evening and tomorrow,im hoping to connect with a buck, maybe the one i foolishly passed on the second week of the season, any tips for late season? nothing against baiting but its not for me, any suggestions?
