I was very lucky my parents have a home in Florida they took all the grandkids to disney in shifts, the only Orlando attraction I had to do was Sea World. I didn't even have to go to Bush Gardens.
It's a society norm that American kids are entitled to, haven't you heard? My girls were 3 and 5 and they enjoyed it. If I remember correctly the breakfast with characters was one of their favorite times there. You will hate most of it and your family will love it. I would also add if you are planning on more children I would wait or your *** might get drug through it again. Good luck.
When we lived in Fl we started taking our son when he was around 1 and took him 4 or 5 times before we moved when he was around 2. He loved magic Kingdom. They have a lot of rides like Dumbo, Aladins magic carpets, Its a small world, Peter Pan,Winnie the Pooh, Buzz lightyear ect.. heck he even liked the People mover and the train that goes around the park. They have a kids roller coaster that he was just barley too short to ride. We took him to MGM and Epcot but he didnt have as much fun there. I grew up a Disney kid.. My sister works there and would take me all the time. I have had a lot of fun there over the years but nothing like when we took our son. Just to see them light up.. priceless.
The time that Hook, Brad, and I are going is NOT busy. Hardly any lines. You will be able to walk on most of the rides Tuesday - Thursday are the least busy ... you are going during the Food and Wine Festival... do Epcot on one of the days in the middle of the week to avoid the biggest crowds If you stay on Disney, they are free For those of you that have never, or say you will never go, I was in the same boat. I went because my wife really wanted to go and I finally buckled. I love it ... you can really dig in to some good eats ... we are going the third week in September and we will be doing the Food and Wine pairing at Epcot again...that was a great time ... You hear how they say it is the happiest place on Earth .... well, it kinda is ...everyone is very nice...everyone seems happy ... and while some of you think it emasculates a man to go, if you let it ... it may get a hold of you Now I would NEVER go during peak season...that would suck bad, but go during off peak and stay at a mid-high level resort ... you will have a great time ...
Have fun like TJ I was lucky enough to get my wife and kids to go a couple of times when I was in deer camp.
the shuttles and monorail rides are "free", regardless if you stay on property or not. Just enjoy it. Regardless of what some of these curmudgeons say, you're going to have fun... Just plan on spending more $$ than you planned, it's going to happen. Get there early, stay late. If you stay on property, get there early, go back for a nap and rest, then go back... If you're near Halloween, by all means do the halloween night. That's a lot of fun. If you have young kids, get to the magic kingdom really early. The first family, well the first family with young kids, will get selected to help the cast open the park, and will ride in the opening parade... We were there 3 straight morning last fall break.. First in line... But since my daughter was 17, they waited for the next family with youngsters.... That would be a memory they will never forget...
Take a day and visit universal studios. Your three-year-old may not know any different but it will be a lot more fun for you. Hollywood studios are a waste of time, drinking your way through all the countries in Epcot was definitely my favorite part of the trip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So is Epcot and MGM.. they have a few things but Magic Kingdom is by far the best for small children.
We are only planning on hitting Disney two days. One day at Magic Kingdom and one day at Epcot. Our kids are 6 and 9. Does that sound like the two parks to hit for only two days? We won't see everything at Disney and that is Ok. We plan on hitting the beach, Kennedy Space Center and maybe Universal.
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom or MGM would be my pick for kids That's my $.02 Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Apparently you drink which sounds awesome to me, but not sure how the wife and kid (and wife's boss and family) will feel about that
I'm concerned Animal Kingdom is too much like a zoo which they have been to zoo's a million times because we had annual passes the past two years. Not sure though
I would skip epcot and hit Universal I think my daughter was 6 or 7 when we took her there and she loved Universal.
We planned to buy a two day pass to Disney. Universal would be separate. So would we be better just doing two days at the magic Kingdom?
Animal Kingdom has the best coaster and BBQ joint....cheap too...way more than a glorified zoo and it is the biggest park Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
