Hey guys! I’m new here & joined to ask this question. I live 1 1/2 hours from my property. Today a guy that hunts coyotes there said he saw tracks in the snow where someone had been wondering around. I have several cameras to put out but I’m wondering if someone makes a non cellular time lapse camera that I can run on solar? Trespassers instantly make my blood boil & I will find out who they are & confront them. Thanks for any & all help!
A non-cellular cam will get stolen and you'll have no way of knowing who took it. But, with a cell cam you'll at least know what they look like if they do steal it, unless they approach it from behind. Living that far away, it's tough to monitor your property, unless you have a local to help you out with trespassers. Trespassers suck!
I say place a very cheap or broken camera on the tree in plain sight and then place a cell cam up high or out of sight overlooking the dummy camera. Use a climbing stick or ladder to accomplish this and make sure it cant be reached without alot of effort. More than likely the trespassers will focus on the "bait" camera and you will be able to identify them. Good luck! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
