Well got the bucks coming in tonight with about 30 minutes left of light. 5 more days! Should be interesting. This will be such a slow week, ha.

    We're officially 129 points down.

Benkharr put down a nice velvet buck for team 20.

We got a few hunting over the next couple weeks too.

    Good luck guys!

I’d take either. The back one is ahead since the front one looks like a clone of the one I have on the wall. I have pics of the front one last year and between myself and a neighbor we have 3 years on the back one.

So what's it take to win this thing? One of the key factors is does, does/bonus deer cancel each other out, but when a lopsided doe count comes into play it changes things quick.

Last year the team I was on came in 2nd, and any year but last year would have won it with a record score.

We had 8 bucks and 11 does to their 9 bucks and 7 does. Yet we only lost by 144 points.

Their average buck size was 131 6/8 to our 125 6/8. We were within 1 good buck, or with the final doe filled would have needed a 94" buck.

Not asking anyone to shoot something below their threshold by and stretch, just showing how does can neutralize an opposing buck.

We completely neutralized their 189 3/8 and knocked off 10 5/8 from their second largest.

Sadly I only get one bow tag in ND. I hold out for a mature buck usually until the last weekend, I go big or go home!!
