Shoot ya. Dude very good. Happy for you. Every body has there 1st buck kill that is nothing to brag about antler size but the story is 100 miles long. Congrats and you got us on board Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Big 6 I've been watching for a couple years...I had thought he was a young buck that was going to be huge, now I know he's just a big 6, lol. Picture of him from last year. This location had become his core last year...the core rarely starts to manifest until at least 3 yo. Which would put him at 3, but more than likely at 4 years old this year.
Hey @triebs58 , think you can edit your entry to reflect yesterday's date as the harvest date. Just want to keep everything accurate as to not be questioned when we win this thing. Thanks!
First ones special! I can still remember my first one and from 100 yards you would have thought it was a doe Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
The big buck I was chasing has been missing for 11 day's. Still going to run my cam's and hope I can catch back up with him....but time is ticking, so I'm shifting my focus to this guy. He and the big 6 I posted are running together and hitting these persimmon hard. Also some white oak closes by that just started dropping. Picked a couple trees out yesterday and planning a hunt after the weekend.
Didn’t even know I put in the wrong date thanks for the feedback Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Should be a pretty good cool down first week of October. May get a sit in opening weekend if temps dip into the lower 40's. I can handle those temps.
GOOD LUCK!! I'm off the whole week, first week of October. Weather permitting, I've found that to be a pretty awesome week to be just off a bucks bed near a hot food.
