I am hoping to get out a few more time before the season ends. I have not seen a lot of dead deer on the roads lately or in the fields.
I saw 2 tonight in the field while I was leaving my hunting area. They released cattle in the creek bottom I hunt in that is surrounded by combined corn fields, sigh.
Heading out to public land this week. All my deer have vanished!!! Still a few more weeks left for me to put up some points

the deer were either too far away or the random branch in the way this last week for me, hope to get outa couple more times this year yet. That warm front made them disappear totally the last couple days too.
I'm heading out with the smoke pole Saturday morning then the bow in the evening. May be time to start putting out some corn. It's legal here and couple guys on my lease put some out. I try to stay away from that but my freezer is completely empty and desperate times call for desperate measures.
I went out tonight but didnt see any deer, I have one more weekend to hopefully get one on the ground.

My season ended with me having influenza and losing the last 3 days of the season, not the way I had hoped. I have to wait until next season now.
I might go out one more time before season ends. Me and buddy went coyote hunting on sunday morning and did not even see a single track of a deer or a coyote so the deer might of moved to somewhere else like they do every year. Sorry I could not get any points for us.
I have a few more weeks but not sure I will be able to get out after this weekend. And damn it's cold!
