I was out Sunday morning and all day Monday. Saw deer and no shots. Can you say frustrated? MD has a three day muzzleloader coming this weekend. I may take the bow with me too.

That buck is huge bowhunter. I watched my video of the bow that I hit high and after watching it 15 times I came to the conclusion that she jumped the string. I am hoping to go out this weekend but the wind is gonna suck.

Tomorrow is the first day of the 2 day archery hunt in the military base here in mn. I hope to harvest another big buck or at least a doe.

I'm headed to Kansas tomorrow for a week of hunting then back to MN where the rut should be starting up if it will cool off some. I hope to get my son on some deer when I get home. Lets knock down some deer boys.

I'm going to do an afternoon hunt on Saturday and probably a morning/afternoon hunt on Sunday. Hope to catch a buck up on it's feet.

Well fellas it's about 2:30 AM and I'm on the road.
Hopefully with the weather patterns that we've been having there isn't a real October lull this year
That being said I'm getting into one of my cedar stands that is on the top of the ridge and it's highest point of our farm
And hopefully I can catch this little boy walking by this morning[IMG]

I checked my camera yesterday and not a lot of action on it. The corn fields are still up due to the rain. I am going to try a Saturday morning hunt the wind might screw with me a little bit hopefully I can take a doe and actually recover her. Good luck to all this weekend.

I talk to my father in law today and he said that a property not to far from his property they have a 200 incher. He seen the guy's trail camera pic and said its huge. I guess the guy pumped him the other day walking to stand and it ran towards father in law property. To bad I have to wait till next weekend to hunt down there.

Well I got to hunt both morning and evening Wednesday (opening day in Alabama). I hunted again Friday morning and again this afternoon. I haven't seen any deer yet. However, I have been able to watch 5 different gobblers.

Hey guys...shot a doe Sunday. What should have been a slam dunk at 34 yards turned into a bad leg shot and 3 hours of tracking with blood trail ending in frustration. Good news is MD had it's first frost this morning and deer were on their feet moving for quite a while. Had three bucks (spike, 4 pt and 8 pt) work past me and 5 does...oh and a really pretty red fox.

I'm hunting in Kansas over milo tonight so hopefully some bucks start moving even though it's hot. I hope to shoot a huge 50 point deer.
