So far it’s been a great first morning. Had to fight a Rin for my blind first thing. I got to lay eyes on both of the bucks that I wanted to. I forgot all about this little northern coming through today, and that made my scent go right to them, so they were pretty cautious. They never spooked off but they knew something wasn’t right, so they headed back to the buck nest. I’ll go over my footage later this morning and decide if either one of them are something I want to take. The group of doe tied to come through shortly after that. Unfortunately one of them tried to get on my four-wheeler but found out she couldn’t so she got pissed and blew. One of the downsides of being disabled is having to utilize an ATV and park it so close to me… DAMN Legs lol. I’m gonna sit here and enjoy it for another hour or so… if anything else exciting happens I’ll let yall know, if not, I’ll update yall this evening.

I definitely will. Stinkers came from the opposite direction than I thought they would and surprised me.
Will be hitting the woods tommorow afternoon. Not really WANTING to shoot anything just yet but I can't stand not being in the woods. Hoping to be able to use my homemade knife I made over winter on its first deer.
I’m back in the blind for another sit and already had a group of doe’s try to come through. Unfortunately they did the exact same thing and blew their heads off at me. Tomorrow after the morning hunt I’ll have to figure out a new parking spot for the ATV. Same issues different season.
I’m back in for another sit. It’s a nice cool morning. After today, I’m going to give this spot a little break and wait until the wind shifts and comes out of the south.

Nice job guys! It’s good to get the zero off the board early in October! I drove around the public land next to my house this morning and there was only one truck I seen and there were deer sighted from the road.
