I'm done, headed for Arkansas in a few weeks though. Time to slay some ducks!

Can I add an extra 10pts per bird? I'll shoot them with my bow too....

How'd the duck hunting go? We have a pretty good amount of birds over here in Oklahoma right now, I'm ready to get after em!

I usually get distracted during the gun seasons with thanksgiving and returning to work. I moved a couple cameras yesterday to food sources and already got a picture of a buck I don’t recognize and I might want to shoot. I also still want to try to find a public land buck I actually think I found a good spot for once lol gona see if any of the public spots within a couple of hours of me hold late season deer. Team my apologies for not being around at all. I had a workforce reduction that started Nov 15th. So I had to figure out Cobra, unemployment, 401k etc. Then I also went on our annual Wi gun dear season hunt up at the cabin.

So Preacher Tony reached out to me to ask if I am still hunting. Yes I am! Holy Crap we are in 2nd place. Great job team! So basically I need to kill a 140+ and a doe to put us over the top. Next few weeks I should be able to hit it really hard. With 52 weeks of severance I got some time. ;-)

I think I shot 15 times and didn’t bring home a bird. I have never shot that bad I’m surprised the dogs didn’t take the truck home without me. Although the lab had a wing broke bird pinned down and it got away somehow. I just don’t bird hunt enough and usual when we go we don’t run into any maybe the numbers are bouncing back

Good Luck bud! My buddies have been slaying the ducks the past couple of days while I've been chasing this one buck around. There should be a good number of em over there in Arkansas.

Well my 3 day hunt came up unsuccessful. Went out with a different group each day, each using a different tactic of hunting and different locations around the state. Day 1, we field hunted off of the delta, saw probably 50,000 snow geese and 1,000 mallards. Took some shots but wasnt getting much to drop into our spread. Day 2 we hunted a snow geese feed that guys had luck in the day before, group of 8 guys but we only took out 7 geese, none of them were my way. Day 3 we boated into a deep woods hole for a timber hunt. Beautiful morning, stood in about 3ft of water. No ducks or geese. Had two mallards fly through at daylight but that was it. It was dead the rest of the hunt.

I saw thousands of ducks and geese scouting a river piece today it was loud when I was spooking them off the water pretty cool.
