I’m up for the evening. Sitting in a tree over looking a bean field with a creek bottom behind me. Found a big fresh scrape on the way in and hung a cam. More of a scouting sit tonight but we’ll see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Doe and fawn was the only sighting yesterday. Sitting on an oak flat this morning. Tons of acorns hitting the ground. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
6 does came in around 8:15, that’s it so far. Oh yea and 100 squirrels lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry for the lack of communication guys but I'm on the board. Family life is keeping me busy and very limited time in the woods. I'll get her on the score board shortly.
Last sit for IL until I return Nov. 8th. Sitting between a pond and a large corn field. Red oaks dropping to my right. It’s hot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's my first sit in Oklahoma. Nothing is moving as of yet. I'll hunt most of the morning and come back this afternoon. A cool front is moving in around 3pm. Sent from my SM-G990U1 using Tapatalk
No luck this morning, but a successful card pull. I'll be back out this afternoon for sure. Sent from my SM-G990U1 using Tapatalk
Rising pressure, rising moon, small cold front NW wind 5-10 mph…I’m going in after one of my target bucks tonight, I’m just not sure which one. I’m leaning towards my main farm but I’m just torn on what to do.
Pick whichever your gut tells you to. Good luck, there will be some bucks hitting the ground this week with the cold snap.
Yeah, I’m going to head to my main farm tonight. There’s at least 2 maybe 3 deer that I would shoot 130-145 and who know what could randomly show up there. The other property that I was thinking about is one of the new properties where I’m after 1 deer and I don't think he’s living there, just passing through. Almost identical conditions Wednesday and Thursday so I’ll let the camera soak a couple more days and head in there for an evening sit and hopefully get come camera intel.
Hoping for redemption on this guy. Had an arrow break at the fletching coming out of my bow last year and hit him on his knee tendon on his back leg. Had him on cam most of the late season and then disappeared or shed in late December. Had one velvet picture and wasn’t sure it was him but got him on cam a couple times the past couple days and he still walks with a slight gate/limp.
Man, this cooler weather this week has me itchin to get out. May take Thursday afternoon off and possibly Friday all day.
Went out for my first sit of the year yesterday afternoon. Only got in about the last hour and a half. Had one small doe come in to 5 yards, felt great to atleast see something on the first time out! Definitely will be out after Sat. Cold front coming, looks really good for Sunday and Monday! Good luck everybody! Sent from my SM-S911U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
