That’s awesome man. I love the fact that he loves to shoot. I bought him a crossbow two years ago and he has never liked hunting with it and I dont blame him. I have a couple decent bucks Giving me day light photos. I’m tempted to try and get on them but don’t want to blow them out right out of the gate. Depending on what I see the next couple days I’m planning on doing an evening sit.
Cross country and volleyball game Saturday. Might hunt Sunday evening. My mom will have back surgery Tuesday so I will be busy for a couple weeks helping her out and finishing up with the high school fall sports. Saved a few vacation days for end of October. 2 of the butchers I normally go to are only doing deboned meat this deer season. I might have a friend at work that would let me use his barn to process my own deer or i would have to find another processor. I dont want to push it on him. My wife and kids would kill me if they came home to a deer hanging in the garage. I don't know alot of people who take care of their own deer. I am the only person in my family that hunts. Went out on some public that I’d never been on nor scouted. Had a rough start when I hopped off the trail and ended up in some thick briars for about 130 yards. Well yesterday was a great day! Hunted with my daughter in the morning scouted the new property hunt a stand and hunted the evening. New property looks promising.
