well boyz not looking good at all. I've been sick the whole week and couldn't get out. I believe this weekend is the last weekend of our deer season and the weather looks real bad. Snow, freezing rain, dropping temps. this year has just sucked. I haven't seen a deer since gun season started and to top it off I've had the flu for 2 weeks now. Unless it's straight snow tomorrow, I'm done for the year. If i actually go out tomorrow and get lucky I'll let you all know. sorry for not coming thru. 2 years in a row skunked!

Just picked up 300 pounds of corn and 3 buckets of mineral. Time to start up some supplemental feeding again and see how the herd is doing.
well that's it for me. I was feeling like crap today with only 2 hrs sleep. Weather was okay but I just wasn't up for it. Weird to think it's all over for this year. Maybe shootin some yotes would help. Next on the agenda; ice fishing and the gtg!

Well guys, we gave it our best. It was a good time being on the same team as all of you. Great bunch of guys, glad I got to know you. Sorry that I couldn't give us any points from a buck, it just wasn't meant to be this year. I still had a really good year overall and am already looking forward to next season. Maybe we will be on the same team again sometime soon. Good luck with all your other ventures throughout the year!
Season's not over here quite yet. :D I'm going to try and sneak out for an afternoon hunt tomorrow and then again this coming Sunday which is the final day of season for us. We'll see what happens. Deer are hammering what little bit is left of our food plots so there's still a chance....
Good luck Justin. I just can't even get in the mood to go back out again. The wife and I have 5 deer in the freezer and my thoughts are geared towards trapping right now. I just dumped corn and mineral out a few days ago, so I'm just watching until sheds fall off. And speaking of trapping.....
Sweet!!! I took my first Red Fox last saturday when out Duck hunting...was pretty cool! Posted a little write up in the bowhunting section cause I didn't know where to put it, but here are a couple pics of the day. Def a unique hunt! Talk about a "Mixed Bag" haha Also put into the lottery for a suburban shotgun deer hunt...If I draw I get one day to head out again with a slug gun and see if I can bag one more for the freezer! See how it goes
Well another season has come and gone and I'm stuck eating tag soup. It was a good year for the most part - I had a bunch of good hunts, saw some great deer, got to hang out with a few buddies, and didn't hurt myself. Now the work begins for next year. If I don't kill something next fall it's going to be ugly.
