Looks like we should be in great shape. Only 3 missing and all 3 of them were on the site within the last 2 days! I sent each a quick message to check in on the thread when they can! And it is great to see all the excitement from everyone! Hope that continues throughout the season!
looks good to me! I love the excitement and participation! Im hitting the woods in 10 days!! Goal is to put a doe down but I will take a buck 2 1/2 and up too since its public and would be my first deer with a bow
Im hitting the woods in 24 days and the anticipation is killing me. My goal is to whack as many does as I can in Nc then once I get back to WI mid oct I got a score to settle with a buck we call Lucky Lefty. In our family he has been in range of us 8 different times and yet hasnt had an arrow sent in his direction hence the lucky part of his name and Lefty cuz his left side is goofed up. No pics this summer of him but he never shows up on ours till late september.
That is awesome that you get to hunt in 10 days. Sucks having to wait till October 1st. Your post brings up a good point though for all you new guys. By absolutely no means pass on a deer or take a deer you would rather pass on just for the team. This contest is for fun and we want to win but each of is should only take deer that we want to take. Never miss a contest, but never put up any points.... Except for the Fergie clause of course. Feel sorry for your team, having the guy the Fergie clause is named after....that is never a good thing. But there will be plenty of updates on his YouTube channel of him sitting in a stand and complaing about a bunch of geese....
