Well boys I tried my hardest yesterday but just couldn't find a buck to shoot! Last night I had does come in from every possible direction but couldn't find a buck to save my life! WTH is that all about?? I'm at work today but will be back at it tomorrow and Sunday at my local spots. There aren't as many deer here as my other farm but there's a few good bucks roaming around. Let's hope they're moving once this wind starts to die down.
Well I blew it this morning. Had two shooters within 35 yards within 30 seconds of each other and didn't kill either one. Sigh.
well, what happened? didn't shoot, did shoot/miss, got busted? don't leave us hanging. good thing I didn't go out this morning. snow on the ground by us, and the wind is crazy out there. tomorrow morning should be good.
I'm going out tomorrow morning for a short sit, and tomorrow afternoon. It had dropped about 20 deg today and had rain early in the night. I have a great feeling about tomorrow. Really wish we had an east wind.
This morning the wind swirled on the first one as he walked straight to me at 10 yards. The 2nd buck I didn't recognize until it was too late bc he broke his g2 off since yesterday. By the time I knew who it was he was already walking off. My wife got oh so close to the 7 pointer this evening. He wa walking straight to her 60 yards out when he threw his nose in the air, turned and trotted off with his nose to the ground. Sounds like a doe was nearby. I'll be at it again in the morning. Should be a good day as cool as it will be. Good luck guys.

well i was planning on going out today but got called into work and i'm working my regular shift tomorrow so I won't be hunting till Monday afternoon. Hopefully the rain holds off or is gone by then. good luck to everyone else!

So I shot a buck this morning and the shot looked perfect. Problem is, I saw him up on his feet a couple minutes later walking extremely slowly with his mouth open. I'm gonna wait until around 11 or after before I get down to check things out. That will be at least 4 hours. I'm praying that he's down already.
Well today hit roughly the 60 hr mark chasing deer... Luck has not been in my favor no big bucks on private and no shots on any mature deer on public. Next weekend starts gun season so I'll be doing that in mn and avoiding the orange army on public in nd. Yeah, he called me about 2 minutes after he shot that buck. I swear he does it just to make me look bad. Can't get out tonight but was out all day yesterday and this morning. Passed a couple smaller bucks yesterday first thing then nothing but does last night and today. Will be back after it sometime this week I'm sure.

Well guys, bad news so far. I never found even a single speck of blood. I did find my arrow, but there wasn't just a ton of penetration. I'll be looking again first thing in the morning and see what happens. I'm praying that somehow it wasn't a lethal hit. If I don't find him I'm gonna surround the area with cameras and try to hunt exclusively for him.
