Day 2 here and we are surrounded by big bucks. No luck yet, but we've seen 10 different shooters, heading out in a few minutes!
Well gents, you can add another 50 points to our total. I shot a doe on Saturday night in one of our food plots. Didn't do much for trophy photos with her but did get it all on film for this week's episode. When it airs I'll post the link and put her in the scorecard. About 20 minutes after I shot her I passed up a 26 yd shot at a nice 125-ish 3 year old. I thought about shooting him for a few seconds but just couldn't bring myself to do it. There's a lot of season left and some bigger/older deer around I have my sights on. Fergie got the pass from me for the 2nd year in a row. If he makes it to 4 he probably won't be so lucky.
Congrats on the doe Justin! I don't blame you for not shooting him. There are a few bucks where I hunt that are borderline like that buck, but I won't know if I will shoot them or not until they come by. I've got a bad feeling one of them may not be very lucky.

I'd certainly love to shoot him but I'm not holding out for one deer exclusively! There's a half dozen of them I'd like to run an arrow through. Fortunately for Fergie he's not one of them. Contemplating playing hooky on Thursday and heading out for the day. This colder weather should have them moving for sure. I forecast a lot of dead bucks this weekend.
After tomorrow, it's on! A cold front is pushing in tonight and tomorrow and I have a feeling things are fixing to get really good this week. I've got several bucks showing up on camera and am super excited. Good luck to you guys that are hunting this week. I feel like we are gonna have some major points pile up here soon for us!
congrats again Ferg! job well done! man that Killzone opened her right up! I'll be going out Thur afternoon and all day Fri/Sat. I've got a lot of deer on video. They've been showing up between 9 and 11 am; after I"ve left the stand for the morning. Hence is why I'm gonna sit all day. I"ll need to trim a few shooting lanes since my camera really has them checking it out. good luck to anyone else still hunting. Team 7 is on the move!
