I'm pretty sure the 3:16 pack is around 1200 ci if memory serves.

I've been using my Tenzing daypack these last few hunts but I'm not sure how I feel about it quite yet. The pack itself is great I just haven't gotten a system down for packing the camera arm that I really like. I feel like the arm lays across the top of a fanny pack better than it does along the side of a daypack. I'm trying a different method of attaching it about every time I go out. Another few sits and I'll have my final opinion I think.

Awesome! I like my camera arm across the top also, which is why I favor the fanny packs. I think either the 800ci or the 1200ci will suffice for me. The one I have now is the older 400ci I believe, so the extra room with either of them will be a great improvement. Thanks a lot man, I appreciate it!

Ya, I know and I just looked that up a bit ago and noticed that it is Monday also. Think I am going to hunt my local farm hard these next couple days and hope for something.

No luck on the hunt this evening. Saw a doe and fawn and that was it. I dd check 3 cameras and was encouraged. I had several bucks on them the last couple days including the 7 pointer I'm after. He is only visiting the cameras after dark and I'm not 100% sure where he is bedding, so I can't really make a move on him. I guess I'll just wait for him to make the first move.

I didn't make it out today. I had to go get new tires for my trailer and run some other errands. I won't be able to make it out again until Saturday.

It's quite in the tree, just enough wind to get set up quietly now it's perfect, except no deers yet

JZ, another quick question for ya man....hope you don't mind. When you guys get settled into your stands and camera gear is all set up, do you guys leave your shotgun mics and wireless lav mics on?

Haha, yeah. I've wanted to change it for awhile, I just didn't know how to go about it. Sure wish I was in a stand. Work sucks today.

well just had a coon come in stand up & look at me that was it. It was perfect out there other than no deer. Man is the corn really loud when walking near it. I can hear the coon walkin thru and chewing in the corn. Beautiful 43 degrees tonight, 1-2 mph wind in my face. Bummer nothing showed up, but I'm hitting it Fri eve and Sat morn. I got a hold of the farmer and he's agreed to leave up 7 rows of corn for me by my stand and small food plot. It'll keep them coming to my stand over the winter. Awesome!

good luck to everyone heading out this weekend. Yeah 4got youth hunt is this weekend. That just absolutely just sux the royal big one. too many firearm seasons in Wisconsin. Screws the bow hunter big time. I guess I'll have to wear orange Sat morn even though it's private land and no kids hunting round the neighboring properties.

so I get out to my stand at 4:30 today and put up my pmi cover leaf system behind my tree and then relax for a bit watch & hearing the dang squirrels for about hour and half. My back is to the neighbors' property, which is facing west. Not much happening, then around 6:15 tonight I hear 2 grunts behind me on the neighbors property about 25-30 yds away. It's real thick in there and I can't see anything moving yet but I can hear branches breaking, and I'm thinkin is that a buck I just heard? then 2 more grunts followed by a snort. then 2 more other grunts nearby. Now there's gotta be two of them getting ready to scrap and I still can't see them. Can't shoot them because they are on the neighbors' property. It's driving me crazy. so I reach over and pick up my grunt tube and give a couple of soft grunts and one grunts back! and my heart is pounding and I still can't see anything then all of the sudden I see something moving thru the thicket but can't make it out. I hear 2 more grunts. About a minute later here comes 4 pigs and about 12 piglets! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! PIGS, WHAT THE HELL ARE PIGS DOING IN THE WOODS?! PIGS, UNFRIKIN UNBELIEVEABLE! FRIKIN PIGS! I've only known the neighbor to have sheep. So know I'm gonna have to stop by the neighbors and see if those are his or ferals. Never seen pigs in 10 yrs of hunting there. Blew my mind. Then about 6:45 something starts to get up and break some branches about 25 yds in front of me but too think and too dark now in the woods as I prepare to come down. Never saw what it was but it walked away from me. Dang crazy night. Pigs, who would've thought!

This weather is crappy...temps dropped and it's real wet. Hopping the rain stops soon. Had a doe come in at 8:15...broadside at 15 yards. I think I should have shot her, but held off for a little.

Well didn't get out this morning but drove around last night and saw +/- 50 does and 2 little bucks. We knew it all along that the ratio is out of whack so I am hoping to put down a couple of does this weekend with the Remington.
