Was my best night so far this year. 4 does of course none close enough and a buck didn't get a great look but I'm gonna guess 100-115" maybe.

Since I'm still here in nc if he came in and I got good film of if all and a clean shot then ya Id shoot him but once I go back to WI then no I wouldn't shoot it.
Well I sat and watched a field this morning. Watched a couple young bucks sparring for awhile and saw a few does. I had a gobbler working his way towards me, but he turned and fed the other way. Overall it was a pretty nice morning. I'm gonna head back this afternoon to do some fishing and watch the field again.

I'm gonna fish a little bit this afternoon before I go hunting. There is a place to fish on the property were I always park at and the crappie usually start biting around this time of year down there.

I didn't see much at all last night. I ended up leaving a little bit early because of mosquitoes. They were tearing me up! I'm ready for the beans to get cut!
I hear ya. I took the week off from hunting just to leave the deer alone for a few nights. Corn should be coming off in a week, then things will change!

I'll be heading out next week for sure. I've started shooting again. So my shoulder has been feeling pretty good and I'm shooting fairly well. I've got some great video off my trail cams. Got a nice 8 and a 6, does, coyotes, and red fox cruising through. Lookin forward to sitting in a tree. supposed to be down to the 50s next weekend.

I finally can hunt this Saturday. I picked up another bow yesterday and got it fine tuned today ready to hunt. Anniversary is tomorrow so I don't think Ill chance hitting the woods especially after my wife let me get another bow. But come Saturday Ill be in my stand.
I know this isn't exactly hunting related but just got the job offer at my interview and more then likely will be accepting. Very very excited to hopefully be moving back into wisconsin! Big change for me but I couldn't ask for anything else! And I'll be able to get to the GTG next year! On another note I should be in a tree this weekend
