Like hearing people doing good deeds, God will bless them. Anyways my season starts Saturday and I literally have been counting down the days since like may haha I'll keep you posted on how my season is going. I'm planning on shwacking a nanny pretty early, probably first week for two and hopefully a velvet buck before they shed them this year, it will fulfill a life long dream of killing one.

KYBowhunter, I see you are from Paducah. I'm only about 45 minutes from you. Good luck this season. I kicked around the idea of getting a Kentucky tag but I wouldn't have much time to hunt there.

So I bought a truck but am still without a bow. Just ordered a Bear outbreak from Cabelas So I should have that by next Wednesday and be ready to go by next weekend hunting. Between my local pro-shop and Bear archery, they both seem to be making things more complicated then it should be, so I gave up hoping my prize bow will be ready any time soon. Been itching to check my trail cam but I want to wait until I get there for hunting. Hopefully there will be something there to look at while I'm waiting for the sun to rise. Decided to check out another place had fresh tracks from deer moose and yotes along with tree's that seemed to have grown just for my climber. Question for all, how far do you usually hike from your vehicle to where you hunt? I was wondering on how close can the vehicle be before its a give away to you being there. I seen one guy last year that was hunting with his quad parked right under his stand.

um and you wondering why you see a quad parked under his stand and not buck?!

Hope all goes well with the bow & trk. Yup it can be frustrating as a customer if you don't have the service. You always have to be willing to walk away b4 they realize your serious.

Snake, that's a crazy look buck. Hope you whack him asap.

Well my leg is feeling better. Hoping to get out next week sometime to pull my cards. I'm sure my batteries are dead on my cameras. Just been way too busy to get out and check.

I think my season starts the 2nd weekend of Sept. again way too busy to even go out and get a license. I don't ask for much, just to win 110mil in the lotto and retire!

Depends on my spot im heading to. There are some spots I have to walk near half a mile and then other spots which happen to sometimes be the best spots I can still see my truck from my tree. In Da Woods I think we all feel that way about the Lotto

Got the tractor, seed, and fertilizer all loaded up fixing to head to go put more food plots in. Just waiting for my brother to get home. Today we are putting in some buck forage oats, some outfitters blend, and something else he picked up. Forgot what it was. I think we have about 2 acres to do this evening. Just hope we can get it finished today.

This brings up a good point with the season starting for a few of you now. I know several of you are returning to the contest and have a very clear understanding of the rules. For you new guys I can't stress the submission process enough.

You must take 2 pictures for it to count. Your pictures must include you, your bow, and the deer!!! These must be two distinctly different pictures. After the first picture move either yourself, the deer or the camera. Any questionable pictures might not count!!! Lets not loose out on points over something so simple!
