Hey fellas, hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend! Sorry I haven't been on much, between the holiday weekend and some **** hitting the fan I have been very pre-occupied and put some of my hunting to dos on hold.

I built a car shortly after graduating college. It was a car I have had twice before that and could never really do it "right" because of money issues being a student and not wanting to waste all my parents money on attempting to build a 500+ horsepower car lol. With that said after graduating I finally did one up "MY" way....the right way! She was/is my baby! She's a stage 3+ 2001 Audi S4 Twin Turbo (Big Turbos) and a custom EPL Tuning Tune and Fueling kit. 550 WHP and 518 ft/lbs Torque. She is quick and fun. Anyway I blew a turbo last summer and the car has sat since, hoping to do yet again with another build..even bigger this time, shooting for a 650 WHP car. After thinking about it very much it does not pay for me to dump this kind of money into the car again so I thought ok I will just replace the turbos and get a new clutch/flywheel since the motor has to be pulled anyway. Well wasn't rushing with getting this done to be honest and I was storing the car at a friends family members garage/shop. We use his lifts and tools for everything we do. Got a call last thursday that he sold the place and we had to have our cars and stuff out of there by saturday evening. HORRIBLE! Since I no longer have the time or space/tools needed to complete this project...yet again. I have decided to sell it "as is" and have accepted the fact of what a loss I will take. Guess its just time to move on! We'll see what happens next and what I decide to get my self into in the future in terms of my "play" car/weekend warrior lol. Moving the car and getting it started this saturday was what I had to deal with taking care of and it was a hassle and pain, but it got done! I did manage to hang a trail cam at one of my spots yesterday though so my weekend wasn't a complete wash! Anyway my rant is over...sorry guys, just needed to vent!

Heres my baby, just to put it into perspective...

Sweet car! I have a couple friends with early 2000's S4s and they're a blast to drive with a tune and exhaust. I can only imagine what a set of turbos and a little extra work does to them. :tu:

I have no hunting updates to give. My food plots are in and with all the recent rain I have to imagine they're growing well by now. I may get out to check cameras this weekend to see if any bucks have shed velvet. If I get pics I'll post them up. In the meantime it's just work and wait....

Yea they're a blast JZ! Always loved them for the motor they had and it's potential. If I wanted any other type of car that can make numbers like this and exceed it, would be a 996 Porsche 911 Turbo. My tune called for a spike at 30lbs of boost then tapered down to 27 psi...def quick! lol

Sweet car dude! Sucks you gotta get rid of it! Hopefully someday you will replace it and get to have your dream car.

No reports from me. Will be checking cams Saturday and will hopefully see what I hope on them. My dad up in Wisconsin tolde he got his first pic of a hard horn buck, nothing big but still a report. My good friend is brand new to hunting and this will be his first year and he has been shooting an ancient bow and he finally got his wife to give him the ok to get a new bow. He ended up buying a 2012 pse stinger g3 and once he got it fully set up we have been shooting all weekend and he's slowly getting it dialed in and every night we watch a few bowhunt or die episodes and to say the least he is excited. I would love to kill a few deer this year but more then anything hope he gets his first deer and discovers why we love this sport.

So found out my local pro shop can fix my bow and Bear will ship out the Limbs for free. So that's a plus, only thing now is bear said should take about a week and the itch is getting bad.

Did a camera check this evening. Got 2 of the hitlisters back on camera with one starting to shed his velvet. I also put out a new camera in a place I had another camera stop working. I'm starting to get pretty excited. I love this time of year.

I am hoping to get out and check 2 cameras and move one of them this weekend if the weather isn't to bad. Last check was nothing but does.

I was thinking about buying Wisconsin tags this year to get a 2 week head start on the IL season but I don't know any of the public land near me. Think I will just go out and blast some geese instead during that time!

I am on the far Eastern side in Kenosha Co. I have a family cottage on a lake just across the state line. I know we have some public land in the area but I have never been to any of it and for just 2 weeks not sure it is worth the money since I can hunt geese during that time on the lake!

I am just hoping that the geese are flying. Haven't been seeing as many in that area as years past but the ducks are crazy right now. Can't wait till I can blast some of them too!

Just ordered 3 more cameras. I should've already had mock scrapes up and running, but I'm just now gonna be getting to them. That puts me at 7 cameras. Surely I can find some daytime movement somewhere.

Awesome!!! What cameras did you go with? What do you use for your mock scrapes also? I wanted to have some started already also, but didn't work out that way. Hoping to get a couple going next weekend I usually use Tinks and the dripper with Power Scrape to start them has worked fairly well in the past, but I need more cameras to keep an eye on them! Any product you recommend that has work well for you? I'm thinking about picking up some Coverts MP6's, I only have one Moultrie up right now that i put out this past monday on a small little property we have off from our house that has decent bucks in it usually. I need to get my Covert MP-E5 up asap also! I wish my work week was only 4 days!!!!!
