Shed hunting has become about as fun as actual hunting to me. I have a dog trained to find sheds now and hope that he helps me quite a bit. I found 40 or so last year, so I hope he could help me pick up anything that I would normally miss. I really enjoy the aspect of there not being anybody else around while I shed hunt, so I have the woods to myself.
The pictures from the Coverts are from this summer. I haven't had my cameras out very long this summer as I sold all 5 of the coverts I had and bought some new stealth cams. The wildgame pic is from last fall. I saw him once and he was 60 yards coming in and it started thundering and lightning and he ran into the woods. Don't have any pictures of him yet but hopefully he will show up!
Some nice bucks you guys are chasing...best of luck!!! Wish I had more time this summer for more scouting and running trail cameras, but work has taken over my life. Kind of let it happen because I know once the season comes around I will be taking vacation and sick/personal days whenever I can haha. Got the call yesterday and the New Hampshire property is scheduled to go to closing next week, so we are going to head out there next weekend and put up some trail cameras and see what we have going on there with out disturbing much. The property has not been hunted for years now so we are hoping this is going to be to our benefit. The real estate agent personally saw a moose on the property as well as a couple black bears and of course deer. From the last walk through up there we saw tracks everywhere! As for our NY spots, we typically know what to expect for the most part, but also want to try to get some cams up sooner than later. Will keep the team updated! Pretty jacked for the season to start!!!

Doing some more scouting hopefully. Was going to go rabbit hunting but I got my bow in the shop for a new string, also getting a bigger peep.
Camera-check weekend! Might also attempt to get my gun stand situated for the year but we will see on that one. Remarkably, I have ALL of my bow stands trimmed and ready. Now I just gotta adjust and add some to my Scoutlookweather map and I'll be set
I shot tonight just to make sure my broad heads fly the same and good thing i did because I found out that three of my arrows fly WAY different with the practice broad head... Any one else ever have this happen? I'm going to scout my public hunting land this weekend.
