We’ve had a really nice cool front here this past couple of days. Lows in the 50s and highs in the low 70s. Opening day, it’s supposed to be 69 for a low and upper 80s for a high. WHYYY??????
I have absolutely zero motivation to be at work right now knowing that tomorrow morning I will be sitting in my stand waiting for a nice doe to come around. I have a nice buck that is in the area that I have only 2 pictures of and they are pretty blurry at that, but I also saw him last weekend while spotting in a field directly across the road from where I park at. I have a solid feeling that my stand is sitting within 100 yards of the predominant bedding area in the area so with a little luck, I may catch him cruising. Will be in the stand about an hour before first light and couldn't be happier!
Got to get out day saw two does, to far for a shot. Wednesday will be the next day I can get out. Shawn Mann Up Outdoors Team Nine Tines
Tomorrow is the day!!! I have a few days a smaller bucks coming through in the mornings. Come on 50 points lol
Anyone having any luck out there? I went out on Saturday and had a rough day to say the least. Woke up late due to my own negligence with my alarms, saw no deer in the morning sit, went home and picked up one of my buddies to come out and hunt with me. I put him in my secondary spot that I figured would produce a lot of deer movement later on in the season. I climbed into my stand and as I was pulling my bow up to the stand, my release pulled through the leather strap attached to my wrist, so I ended up just sitting in the stand until dark. My buddy ended up seeing a ton of deer all night long and pulled the trigger on my #2 buck (we think) right at last shooting light. We found first blood but bumped him in the process so we decided to back out until Sunday morning. We had checked the weather before leaving the woods and it was not supposed to rain until Tuesday, but the weather man was very, very wrong. It ended up raining all night long which caused us to have no blood to follow. Grid searched every inch of the Public plot that we were on and came up skunked. I plan on giving that area a few days to settle down as we were jumping deer left and right with our searches. Probably will head out again on Friday afternoon and Saturday. As always, good luck to everyone else!
Another buck in the book for team 9 Tines! He took me on a he'll of a roller coaster ride, but I found him! Pics comming later. Lots of stuff to get done. Sent from my LM-V350 using Tapatalk

Sorry for the delay fellas, I had to wait until we posted them on our Working Class Hunter page. Then I was having some internet issues. He's just a solid deer and I'm happy to have him. Everything was perfect until a couple milliseconds after I released the arrow and it deflected off a branch that I didn't see. It deflected my arrow about a foot forward of where I had settled my pin. He went around a mile and I lost blood about 50 yards from where I found him. Got pretty fortunate for sure.
Congrats! I feel like I’m letting the team down already lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
