    All i can say is to check local law enforcement web page or local paper for car/deer crashes. Or befriend one of your local officers or game wardens! I get the info b/c of my job. Its a way more accurate prediction of activity than anything else ive found!

    Well folks im all scored out for the team, sorry it was only 100 total, but sure feels good to have backstraps for dinner!! Im holding out for a big boy now, Im just not at a point yet where i have the luxury to pass deer up and know I can fill the freezer later...plus Im I just REALLY like shooting deer:bow:

    Ok, so started with a momma doe& late fawn(?) Nubbin come into the plot. I say late fawn b/c hes alot smaller than the other nubbins i have seen&still allowed to nurse?! Momma doe starts chasing a 2nd nubbin away from the plot while a huge nanny doe moves in. I debated shooting old cautious nanny but decided to wait &stick to my game plan... bucks 1st.... heard another deer coming from the pines& saw a part of an antler, thought was probably a spike. The deer cleared the pines&i could tell it had to be bigger than a spike, had a pretty good sized body. Deer finally moved from behind the trees and basically wasted no time coming into the plot coming across a dead fall to do so. Came in fast to 20 yds, grunting & completely broad side. Lined it up. Let it fly, you have figured ir the test of the story! Watched him& the nub & does run the same direction. Heard a crash &figured he was down for the count. Went less the 50 yds from double lung hit.
