    Checked out one new piece of public land. By the time I got out there I only had about 45mins to hunt. Scouted a small section of the property, but didn't find much sign. Tomorrow after work I will move on and check out another new property.

    Headed out after work today and took tomorrow off to hunt this cold weather. My buddy who leases some land north of me shot a 2.5 year old 7 point on Monday, I video taped this buck for a little bit this past Saturday because he had some great potential for the future. Thought we were all on the same page for mature bucks but, I guess not :bash:. Oh well it is his first buck so can't be too upset.

    Good luck to everyone else who is going out this weekend and congrats to those of you who already put the smack down on a deer. Been super busy with school, work, and family so I am super pumped for this cooler weather and future vacation days.:rock:

    Good luck no6. It got cold last night and will cool for like 5 days. I wont be able to hunt til Monday morning but that is perfect as it will be 35 degrees. I'm moving in tight to doe beds in case the cold really gets them moving.

    15 yards broadside, double lung. Piled up 50 yards away. Barely made it out of the field. Had to go into work tonight. Will take my measurments in the morning. Will have to go read requirements again though, I dont remember how or where to post my stats and photos
