Alright, now that i have caught up in my reading....Im Stacy and hunt a couple different 80 parcels in Central WI. I have one that I particularly concentrate on for bow season though. My fiance and I have put alot of work into a food plot with a small water reserve, not much more than a puddle, basically in the middle of the hardwoods and pines. To the south end is what we call"the bedroom" and where the big boys like to hide and sleep. There are a few nice funnels to the plot and water. Last year had some unfamiliar bucks show up later in the season and looks like they decided to stay! (Im ok with that!) Anyway ill post some travel camera pics but i already have my favorites. Usually only about 3 or 4 does in the area regularly so i won't shoot any slick heads till after rut.

Anyway i work in law enforcement, just hit 20 yrs this past March. My other half just won the primary and is now sheriff-elect! After all that campaigning and eating chicken, i am ready for some tree sitting and venison!!

Need i say, how awesome was it to be team number one!?

    Number one, gettin it done!

Some decent prospects. If this plot goes like normal, these guys will disappear and return mid to end of October[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Heres some pics from last year, including my view from the stand. We brushed it out a bit more to open the shot opportunities up a bit, just hoping wasn't to much. And yes those are 2yearling bears. The sow almost came up my tree trying to figure out what i was! I actually saw a bear about 2 weeks ago that was similar in size, not too far from this property...takes walking to the stand in the dark to a different level! I nominate Junior for team Captain. You’re biggest buck on camera so far is bigger than my biggest buck so far - I respectfully concede! BTW - great looking food plot, looks like a beautiful set-up.

Thank you and Im flattered. However, I have held the Captain title the previous contest and would concede to anyone not having experienced that yet.

Yes - I too have experienced it and would love for someone else to take on that role. I think it's a great resume opportunity. Virginia Shadow needs to work on his resume lmao

Anyone heard from Kendall Arthur? It looks like they signed up in the thread under screen name Karthur92 but wrote Kendall Arthur in the post?! Also looks like they only have 18 posts. Screenshot_20180817-095257.jpg

Great place to learn the who is who of the what! What is the atmosphere like there in regards to cops? Getting decent community support and such?

I put out 2 trail cams on one new piece of public land last week. I'll pull them late this month to try and get an inventory of what might be out there...very interested in doe groups.
