Middle aged guy in central Illinois who just started hunting this year. I bought a bow last fall and practiced all spring, summer and fall and went hunting up in Plano on private land with a friend and got my first deer. I am told she was roughly 5 yrs old and 150lbs. I got her at 22 yards with a rocket sidewinder through both lungs. I couldn't be more excited. Hopefully she is the first of many.
