I've shot a Carter chocolate 4 finger for 3 years now. I love it. Probably will never go back to a index style release.
That's funny you ask that. I just got my Exxus release from Scott Archery in today: I love it! (Took forever to get though)
Yeah I was looking at those as well I hear nothing but good things on the Carter's. There was another version of the Scott's that's few reviews said kill d loops so I wondered if that one had any similar issues tho it haven't read of any probs with that version
Picked up a new property to hunt. 160 acres total with about 80 in corn and beans and the rest is pasture and woods. Put some cams out yesterday. I'll let everyone know what's around in a week or two.
Saturday is the big day. I will update you guys from the stand. I'm a little behind on preparing but will be ready enough for this weekend. I'm gonna miss my wife and son since I've been spending all free time in the off season with them. No pain. No gain. Bowhuntordie
I don't see the fridge full of beer, nor the tv with never ending hunting dvd's. lol j/k it looks awesome man. Nothing like a fully tuned bow you did yourself... very gratifying.
Beer fridge hmmmmmmmmm I mentioned putting a 19 inch tv and DVD player down there so I could watch a couple of my tuning videos while I work to my gf at Wally World yesterday. Had u seen the look on her face u would understand why it is not in the pic...........yet
Well I spent the last couple days sick as hell & then spent today helping a guy hang some stands on his place & in return he gave me permission to hunt his place. Don't know if Ill actually get over there to hunt but its now an option & Im always willing to help a friend. Didn't get over to the farm to pull cards, so Im aiming for next weekend. Illinois opener is Wednesday & Ill be out there bright & early. Anyone sit out in the heat this weekend or did everyone stay home to watch football?
Looks like I may get out Thursday; been to busy with work lately.... SUCKS!! I'll have to listen to my Vikes and Teddy torchin the frozen tundra on Sirius in the stand can't pass up a night of hunting even if the Vikes are on.
This weekend is shaping up to be an awesome weekend to be in the deer woods here in the Midwest. With the storm front moving out of the area & low temps in the 30's for Saturday & Sunday, it should really get the deer moving. I predict some Booners on the scoreboard by sunday night. Lets make sure some of those points are ours.
