Even if he doesn't find any it will be a good time. It will be a good learning experience anyways. I just hope he can stay focused and not chase animals. He has a bad habit of going after anything that moves.

I checked cams yesterday. One young buck has surprisingly lost both sides, but everything else is holding tight. I'm not going to look for another couple weeks so I don't push the bucks to the neighbors.

I checked 4 of my cams yesterday. All 9 bucks are still holding on.

Alright guys it has been snowing for the past 30 hours straight! A lot of it melted but we still have about 6" even though it has been blowing 25+ mph. This will be great for getting the bucks to shed, matting down the grass and concentrating the deer! This is the first snow we have had since mid December. I checked one of my cameras 3 days ago and had 12 bucks on it!! I was super pumped! Hopefully they will stick around!

I checked cams again today and nothing but one buck has dropped. I also happened to see a big group of bucks and they all had both sides. I was really excited to get pics of a young buck I haven't seen since last summer. He has so much potential. He is a 2.5 year old and already in the 120s with some really nice tine length. I'm hoping he will stick around.

Nice! It's always good to see young bucks with great potential on property's you hunt. I went out for a few hours today came up empty handed, it was nice to have a break in the weather snow should be gone in a couple days hopefully.

I checked the rest of my cams today and have I think 3 or 4 shed bucks on them. My dad found one side to a buck I knew pretty well, he's only like 110" but he will be nice after a few years, I'm guessing it dropped about a week ago. First freshy of the year for us.

Anyone finding any fresh bone? I'm headed out after work and a good bit over the weekend hoping to get on the board. Still early for me tho I don't typically hit it hard till March, but it's hard not to when I keep seeing all these people finding em around the site.

I haven't. I do have 3 shed bucks on cam though. I think in another week or so they will really start dropping.

I'm thinking this cold front coming this week will help. Its been relatively mild here so maybe this will help to get some bone on the ground.

If all goes as planned I might make a quick trip this afternoon to look around while my wife is at a bridal shower. I need to check my cameras anyways.
