This guy looks like he will be a dandy if he makes it another year. I think he'll be around 110 or more this year. I usually try and target 130 bucks or better. This guy is hard horn today. Three days ago he was still in velvet.
Looks like we have a few good prospects this year. Cannot stress enough that does can make or break the contest. If you are able, enjoy eating venison, and have the opportunity to harvest a doe, do it. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I will be checking the camera I put up last Saturday this weekend. I will also be putting a ground blind up and another camera. Hopefully I'll have some good pictures for you all this weekend. It's also my 39th anniversary on Saturday and my 58th birthday on Sunday. Busy weekend.
Shoot, does are the one thing I can kill. My biggest buck ever is only 95 inches so hopefully I break that record this year. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm kind of going crazy waiting to check on this camera. First time on a new property I'm stir crazy to see what's on there.
Oh crap! Happy Birthday opening weekend in WI is also this weekend so it should be a good weekend for, at least, two of us. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m up in my stand. Everything sounds like a deer moving through the woods…my son is up in a different stand for his first solo archery hunt. Gonna sit until it gets too hot or one of us launches an arrow. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Yeah, it was tough sleeping last night. I have the feeling that I am going to be able to hit it HARD this year. My son has extra doe tags because it was his first time buying an archery license. So just have to convince my wife. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Today was my third day this week working to clean out the farm house. I have come to the conclusion that my mother was a hoarder..... Ona side note I just got a picture of a buck doing a mid day stroll.
