I have mostly public lane hunts, no cameras up though. Good news is I am going to Missouri for a week at the end of October. I’m hoping to hold out for a buck until then!

There's a new property I've been trying to get permission to hunt it for years. After I moved to Florida, the old man died and the daughters took over the property. Looks like my chances are very promising to get on there for some bow hunting this year. There's another property I may get permission to hunt. My grandson rents there and the guy already told him we could bow hunt there. So, once I get moved up there this weekend, I'll talk with those 2 owners next week and hopefully I'll be in business!

 

Where at in Missouri? I use to have a lease up there and my uncle owns 300 acres on lake of the ozarks.

I was looking at possible avatars for the 9 1 1 name and this was at the top of my search for 9 1 1 hunting images. Little over the top but it made me laugh!

So guys, I'm getting ready to move. Here's a couple pictures of most, not all of my taxidermy stuff. The biggest buck I took back in 21' in Ohio, he grossed 166".

I remember you shooting that buck. Nice!

 

Opening day of the 21' season. I'll never forget it. Had him coming to my spot on camera nearly everyday around 6:15pm and he didn't disappoint and I didn't miss, lol. Still trying to top that one.

 

Yep.. what an opener you had. I've shot a couple goods one over the years and it ruins a fella

 

Yeah, it's kinda bittersweet. I wouldn't trade it for anything lol, but my buck hunting was done on day 1. At least I had more season to take out some does and mentoring my 2 grandsons, can't beat that either.

 

So when do you all start hunting? Season here in Ohio opens September 28th.

 

10/1 for me.

Ill be after it the first cold front we get.

 

9/14 for me. I will be out opening weekend. Have two good targets and have a pretty good pattern on feeding routes.

 

That is the only pic I’m giving away until he has an arrow through him.
