Team 911 (Team 11)

Took my grandson out this evening. No phones, just time with each other and what God gave us to enjoy. We didn't see any deer but we had a great time. On a positive note, they are finally starting to cut the corn field that surrounds our little treed in paradise. I know once that corn is down the action in the trees where we are at will pick up greatly and it's just in time for the pre-rut and rut. I think we'll see really great hunting in there over these next few weeks. My next hunts will be Thursday evening and Friday morning. Good luck to the rest of ya if your getting out there the first part of the week.

 

What part of Missouri? I've killed some big deer up there.

 

I'm ready to get back after it. Kids took off so my hunting schedule is now open!

The next few days should be a good time to catch daylight sighting of bucks.

Ended up at urgent care this morning. Woke up with the left side of my face swollen up around my ear. The wife insisted I go. Inner ear problem and a clogged ustation tube. Antibiotics, flonase spray and Zertex. Couple days and I should be good to go.

 

Get well soon! The time is nigh!

 

Didn't see any this evening. I'll be back at it in the morning.

Saw one unidentified deer around 8, then at 9 I saw a 2 year old 100" 8 point that gave me several opportunities but I couldn't bring myself to shoot him. I might possibly go tomorrow morning.

 

Nice! We had a lease up north of Bethany on the Iowa border for years. My uncle lives in Lawson he has 100 acres there then 400 at Lale Of the Ozarks.

 

Our ML season opens tomorrow. Not sure If I going to carry my Nitro fire or my bow tomorrow.

 

We are up. Just me and my oldest 6 years old. Got rubs all around us we will see.

 

Well good first sit. Had a doe and fawn all around us. Brought a buck in but shot underneath. Be out in the am for a short hunt hoping to catch something before she has dance and i have to set up for the birthday party for my middle daughter.

 

Im just north of y'all up 35 outside of Osceola ia.

 

I wussed out and didn't go this morning.

I will be out tomorrow!

These are 18 yards from the blind I planned to hunt today.

 

This was the bigger of the 2 bucks.

 

Went this morning. Seen a few little deer. My son doubled up with his bow though!
