Ouch, losing a spot that produced deer like that definitely hurts. I know the feeling though, I lost a primo spot a few years back and it hasn't been the same since.

Good luck on that suburban hunt, those can be a pain in the ass, but well worth it if you can connect on a nice buck. I know there are some bruisers running around our suburbs, you just have to hope they can dodge traffic and stay out of people's bird feeders long enough to make it by your stand during daylight. :D

Now where's Poorman been?? Haven't heard much from my favorite Mulleted Man in awhile.

Nice job Wally! I scored on a doe tonight as well, so it looks like we're on the board twice in one weekend.

When's your next trip down to IL?

Man it's been tough hunting for me. I was so down after sitting all weekend nothing to show for it. Natta nothing not one deer in 3 hunts. Not even a flag from a distance. I went out today and checked my camera and have a few bucks in the area one 110-20 inch 9 pointer the rest all small bucks. One with two little ones testing out the headgear right in front of the cam. lol So at least I know they are there. Keep in mind this isn't a huge piece of property and pheasant season started so it was a loud weekend.

I know all to well, we have been dealing with all the fishermen fishing the river for salmon. The run came so late that river is packed with fishermen and when you hunt the river bottoms makes the deer nocturnol!! Walt

Tribal, wait til you see this video, actually it'll be a serious of 3 because of the damn size restrictions. The bear was back, closer, clearer and looking at us.

Nicely done Rob, I can't wait to see the footage!

Now that all four of us have killed does, it's time to put something on the ground with antlers on it's head! We're only 158 points out of the lead. That should be no problem for big buck killing machines like us. :D
