Had a good weekend. We were camping at my in laws lake place. Not much for cell service up there. Kind of nice to unplug once in a while. Hope everyone else had a good weekend. 2 more days and I'll be bear hunting. Started a new bait site and have had solid bear come in twice in the last week
Good weekend, but busy. I got out this morning and shot the longbow for awhile. Tryed a couple 40-45 yard shots and crazy how much it made 25 yards feel close. I plan to stick to a 20 -25 yard max shot. So need to stretch my practice out to longer shots. I'm only 4 days til I'm in the stand, it's coming fast! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I like Tag and Drag. Lucky enough to get to my Amish friend's farm yesterday, where I hunt the majority of the time. Saw a lot of flood devastation along the way. A lot of back roads were one-lane only and there were multiple side roads with washed-out bridges. His place survived no water damage, but his workshop and sawmill saw some from water coming down the lane from the high pasture, like a river. The other two farms where I hunt received no damage at all.
Weekend was good but busy. Took the kids goose hunting Saturday morning. Got a few shots off at some high ones but no luck. Shot the bow this morning. Went to a cook out. Not ready for work tomorrow, lol.
Spent all weekend working around the house. Leaving for South Carolina tomorrow morning for work, 10hr drive. Coming back late Saturday. Probably have stuff to do sunday after I get back. Will work the next few weekends after that getting ready for the season. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I dont think anyone is ever ready for Work. I am on that quarantine status right now. Wife brought home Covid last week, so we have had the luxury of playing with that for last week now. Kinda terrible timing to have the bow in the shop. When you are stuck at home, hobbys are only thing that keep you sane.
Finally have a day off, gonna try to get permission on a farm my dad and I hunted when I was young. Outside of that just planting mums for wife, shooting my bow, shopping for Xbow for kids to start with, and yard work. Still have another week before I check cams. Still have same group of deer 40 yards from porch eating from my apple trees almost every morning Mathews HTR, Sword 5 pin, Truball release, Goldtip XT hunter 300, QAD 125 gr Swept, QAD rest
Ran around all weekend and didn’t get much done productive for hunting season. Looking at getting some new arrows for the season. Unfortunately most that I’d like are sold out currently. Other than that I’m headed to put out a cam on some public I hunt this week to see what’s running around this year! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There has to be some one out there that is ready for work everyday, lol Hope your family is doing ok with Covid.
Not sure what type of arrows you are after, but I know Lancaster Archery has quite a few in stock......at least last time I checked
Yes this would be my advice also. I just ordered some stuff from them and they are backed up a little. Took around a week to get my stuff, but they definitely carry alot of products. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Wanting to find some Axis 5mm 300 spine Match Grades. I’ve shot different Gold Tips for years but my sponsorship is gone now and their quality has gone out the window on many arrows it seems.
Here you go boss: Easton 5mm Axis Match Grade Factory Fletched Arrows (lancasterarchery.com) and the 300 spine say they are in stock.
That’s the same exact arrow and spine I’m shooting this year. I need to order 1/2 doz more here pretty soon as well
