Seen a few deer on my way out to stand in the big fields. How he goes to the same scrape he did on Monday and Tuesday. 32 yards from blind. Fingers crossed!
Well seen some deer tonight but no shooters. The buck i was after I had pics of him a hour before dark on a cell cam about 250 yards from the plot I was on. I have a stand in the timber I will try to get in there tomorrow or Saturday and hope he stays somewhat consistent

I am CST too, but further south so we have more light. Sunset here is right before 7 currently so you can be out until almost 730. That buck looks like your next target my friend...hoping to see that one posted in here this year.

Jumped into the rabbit hole a little my self this year. Bought a new bow this past spring. My old bow was a hand me down from my step dad so I just shot his arrow set up. Used the Ranch fairy arrow tip kit and some bare shafts at different spine (after I already purchased 6 arrows at the spines recommend by bow shop and decided to go with a heavier weight) Ended up at 525-550 grains being the best weight for arrow flight bare shaft with a 300 spine. Fun to play around with but can get expensive.
Went and got into my stand in the timber tonight. Had 5 doe and fawn come in right away and hang around for a while. Nothing the rest of the night. He came in 30 min after I walked out! Will be able to get in there again tomorrow night
