    Congrats @OK/Sooner!

Youth weekend was a bust for us. I took my oldest out Saturday morning. We saw a small buck a few minutes after legal light, he wasn't able to take a shot before it ran off. My wife and I had all three boys out in the afternoon, nobody saw anything.

On Sunday, I wanted to go sit with my 8 year old on a scrape that has started getting good traffic. We stayed up late to watch the World Series and sleep in due to the time change. The plan was to be out there between 9-10am. My wife left to go to church, gets down the street and has a flat so she turned around and came home. Nail in the tire and the spare turned out to be flat. Long story short, I ended up at Walmart to have it patched. We didn't get to the spot until 2:30pm. Deer were on camera there at 6:45, 8:15, 9:30, 11:15, 11:45, and 2:10pm. Nothing came through between 2:30 and dark while we were there. He would have had a 50 yard shot with the .243 if it had. Incredibly frustrating. I am off the 7th - 11th.

They haven’t posted OK/Sooner’s points yet. Bring in the Does and we will climb quickly.

Awesome job! Make sure you get two pictures of each with your bow for the score card. You guys are rolling! I am hoping I will have made a contribution by this time next week.

Team - I have been MIA as a result of work. In Germany right now (Since Saturday) and will be here for a few more days before heading to Switzerland for another week. The tough part is that my trail cameras are blowing up with bucks. Killing me. I believe I will get out in archery 3-4 more times before my season closes. If that happens....I might not post a buck but, will get 50 in late season for us. Fingers crossed. Terrible timing for the work trip but unavoidable.

Awesome job the the teammates having success!

We were two ships passing in the night. It must have just been posted or my app was not updating. Cheers!

Do what you can when you can, it is all in good fun.

I will be bowhunting all day Friday. I drew a gun permit for the first time in five years. That hunt is Saturday-Monday. I can bow hunt during the gun hunt, just can't be on the WMA those days without the permit. I will have the bow with me unless I manage to kill a buck and a doe with it on Friday. The gun permit is only for two deer but the WMA is a three deer limit. Assuming I get those two tags filled on Saturday or Sunday, I will be bowhunting another WMA on Monday and Tuesday.

With the buck and doe yesterday that should put up right at the top knocking on the door of the leader.

Just confirmed, I am done. I will be rooting you all on the next two and a half months. Plenty of time and the rut is just getting started.
