Hey guys, ruttnutt has been having computer problems. Thought they had it fixed but it still won't identify his wireless server. To top it off his cell phone isn't that great either LOL. He will get his buck and doe posted soon as he can,

Hey fellas ... I will get him posted up tonight if my computer is fixed. Looks like I will end up contributing about 180" with the buck and doe. Wish he was a little bigger but I'm not complaining for a 30yd spot and stalk!! I was so pumped.. it was a great hunt !!

Shot a buck today guys. Hes a perfect 10. Gonna score the rack tomm. Couple diff cameras taking pictures one from my sisters phone two from mine. I gotta wait for the pictures from my buddys camera before i can post it for points. he took the pics of me with my bow and i accidently left my bow in his dads truck cause i was so excited. I didnt have my bow to take these pics so i will get the ones i do have the bow in the pics up tonight or tomm when ever he sends them to my email.

The story goes a lil like this.

October 2nd--- I miss a big 7 point twice mis judged the yardage twice i need a rangefinder.

October 3rd-14th ---crappy weather no real good deer movement.

October 15th ---I see a wopper on a farm I didnt get to scout much.

October 16th-Nov 1st ---See a couple good bucks but really no chance.

Nov 2nd ---I shoot a monster biggest buck I would of killed to date larger then 150 inches. Did not find Him.

    Nov.3rd-5th ---I see a couple bucks but all 2 1/2 and younger.

Nov. 6th ---Today was the first day of fall turkey here in Pa and I knew there would be alot of turkey huntters out hunting so I went with my buddy to his farm where no one can hunt. We get there early like an hour before light and i take my climber to the farthest point of his property and set up next to this thicket that seperates me and a corn field. Theres a bedding area about 90 yards from where i was sitting so I figured if a buck was to come out he would come through the thicket to check the bedding area for a doe. Well I was wrong about 7:38 Some turkey huntes start walking in on the property bordering my friends and what do you Know they kicked this buck out of the bedding area and right to me. I didnt get a good look at him I knew he was legal and he was of descent size. So I shot. Well First let me say i prolly would only have about 4 more days to bow hunt Pa anyhow since im going to ohio this tuesday to hunt and i will be in texas for the late archery season hunting. So There was some ground shrinkage but im happy with him especially since I dont like to gun hunt alot unless i go for some late season meat. Well back to how it happened he got to about 20 yards and i shot and him him a little forward in the shoulder but he ran 30 yards at most and piled up.

So no further adue heres the pics...............
I will have more also these are the ones from my phone and my sis phone.

Congrats on your deer, nice to get one down that stayed down huh! I can't get out till Thursday and the wether is co-operating starting tomorrow as it will drop from a balmy 21c which is close to 70 f I think to a low for the remainder of the week of an average of -5 and the rut should be starting asap. Man I can't stand not being able to get out and hear from everyone how great it is right now. Dang, maybe, just maybe the rut will be over by Thursday, LMAO j/k. Good luck to those with tags still to fill and don't forget that safety belt.
    God Bless

Oh yeah, I'm out here. Deer sightings are sucking pretty bad. Temps are up and down. Wish winter would set in. Still trying to get in a tree every chance I get.

    1st Full Day Sit
I had didley for a day as I got in my stand at 6:30 and could hear the bush breaking up not 70 yards away. To bad it was dark, couldn't see a dang thing LOL, any ways it turned out to be 2 calf moose 1 1/2 wieghing a good 500lbs each. Trouble again was they were 70 yards away and moving to another bedding location. Temps were -8 when I got in my stand and -2 when I left at 5:15. At 3 I tried rattling and before I could put the antlers down a good 5x5 150 class buck was staring in my direction trying to see who was fighting . Then he closed the deal walking right into my shooting lane at 27 yards. To bad he was on the other side of a 20 foot wide bush and a couple trees,LMAO. As they say, that's bow hunting,he was a good 51/2 year old with good body weight. He sadly turned and walked of as if nothing had happened. Thing is guys, I believe the rut hasn't kicked in here yet, other wise he would have had his nose to the ground and tending grunting as he walked away. Plus a mature buck with out does is something wrong with the picture. Unless the big guy has them all. Man it seemed like eternitey since my last sit. I'll be out Saturday and Sunday for all day sits again. Surprised myself making it for the full day already. Good luck guys and lets get those animals posted. Hopefully I'll have something down on the weekend, I'll take a doe for 50 points. Be safe and God Bless.

    Got Out Finally
Sat yesterday till 1 and had no sightings but heard a lot of muzzleloader shots in the area. My bud saw 2 does for his evening sit. Sad I know anyways I sat till 4:30 today because I started to get soaked from all the rain that was supposed to turn to snow,.
At 8:30 i had a 4x4 120 buck come in at 5 yards and passed, then nothing till 11:30 and I should have taken him as he was a huge bodied 2x3, I guess I could call him a Rob Buck, again around a 120 buck. I rattled at 12:30 and in came another 4x4 that looked like he was starving. So the bucks are up and moving, still haven't got there nose to the ground, and haven't heard one tending grunting either. I did get a great 170 maybe a 180 5x5 on the TC that I had earlier on the TC. So it's good to see he's still around. Done till Saturday team, hopefully I can get it done then as I won't be able to get back out till Will gets here on Wednesday of next week for 4 days on the 24th.

    Rocky,
You are my hero sitting out all day in negative temps!!! WOW! I can't make myself sit all day when the weather is nice LOL. Sounds like it is just a matter of time for you though, and if nothing else it would be awesome to get to sit and hunt where so many different animals roam.

I hope everyone is enjoying their time in the woods. I have not had much of a chance to hunt my Indiana lease since getting my Ohio buck, but such is life. Work, work work.

Good luck to all and take care.

Just got back after 9 days of hunting. Unfortunately things didn't go well for us in MO so I ended up filming for 6+ days and only got to hunt for two (75 degree temps and winds out of the south everyday)...lots of close calls...that has been the story of our season. We did get close to and got video of some REALLY big deer.

I'm back out for three days this weekend and then five days around Thanksgiving...and hunting all of those days. Good luck guys!

Guys sorry I have not checked in with ya. My mom has been seriously ill and I (we) have been helping her. Lord willing she will get better and I will be able to hunt later in the season. She lives in SC so if ya would keep her in your prayers I would appreaciate it. Good luck to all of you hunting and congrats to those who have scored. Chris
