Good thing you took the time to see that antler, that would have been one heck of a way to start off the season. I did get a photo of a buck that I would like to harvest - his name is flyer. I have over two years of history with this buck. He just showed up after I found his antlers in Feb/March. Hopefully he will hang around for a while. I will be in Wisconsin for the opener.

Put us on the board Rocky!
    Good Luck Todd...that's a dandy!

Should be a fun season...wish you all luck. We got as good a chance as any of winning this contest.

Well, I'm about to go brain dead with my first Elk hunt coming up this weekend...If I don't post again on here until month's end, I'm down with any team name...and hope someone has us on the board by then.

    Be Safe and Have Fun!

I was shooting yesterday and had another thing break on my bow. I've shot all year round and did not have one problem and now just before the season my string frayed (now fixed) and yesterday the spring on my rest broke. :throw::mad::mad::mad:

Calling TT this morning and going to ask them to overnight me a spring. My season starts this Saturday so not a lot of time.

Good to hear you are seeing deer YoungFart.

I'm just filming for now...but I'll have bow in hand starting the 24th and 25th...

And I got pics of a stud...two pics, but I'm unsure if it's the same deer...either way is good news I guess.

    Picture Problem Viewing
Anyone have a clue why I can't click on most pictures and see them? Sometimes it allows me but most it don't. I'd love to show you some of the deer that are frequenting my honey hole's. I have a Mac and every time I upload my TC to the puter it goes straight to Iphoto. From there I'm lost, tried clicking on the photo to drag it over but it fills the whole page and then I can't enter it,LOL, man I hate computers. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

I would just use photobucket. Go get a free account. Upload the photo's and get the image (img) code and copy and paste it here. It should be real simple.

I'm on a mac here and I don't seem to have any problems viewing or uploading. Bowspec that is a nice looking buck. I am trying to stay out of my properties now until the start of the season.

    He is a bruiser...

I'm staying off of my IA place until the second weekend with the theory that if there is any pressure around the property it pushes them over on me...then I move in and just hunt the edge of the property until I get my finger on the pulse of what is going on there (first year owning it). Then when the time is right, I'll make my move. I'm going to try to be very patient...late October may be my best bet with all the scrapes and rubs I saw from last season...

On the other site I only have to click on the picture and it get's big ,not sure if it does on here or not. If you try and it works ,let me know please, He'll go in the low 170's or more,he's 7 1/2 and starting to deteriate ,still a big body and close to 300lbs on the hoof. His left main beam is close to 30 as it almost touches his nose and the bases are 5 or 6 inches. He's not my biggest on the property but I love his non tyipical looks. Hopefully he walks by me as he is in this picture, thats 17 yards from my stand as he walks in 60 yards into the bush from the fields. I'll be waiting Saturday morning as they come of the fields. Wish me luck guys, always need some luck huh! I also need to get my TC back out to see if the other 2 are still around.

Okay guys I'm going out in the morning unless it is raining hard. Wish me luck. The stand I am sitting in is not the greatest so therefore why I don't care about hunting it in the morning this time of year. It will just be good to be in a tree.

Come afternoon I am planning on sitting in a good spot. We will see.

    Update
Dang deer didn't come off the fields till almost 9 this am and they used the outside trail which is 30 yards but in an unshootable area. I watched as they walked by, all 17 of them, no bucks. Oh well that's bow hunting. Back out some nite this week as I have the last of my playoffs in slowpitch this week. Flipping started when it was snowing and now ending it in the snow, LMAO hopefully this picture will come up,just wanted to show you where that buck is walking by me and the terrain.
