Well I am going to check out to see if there are any tracks Thursday or Friday night and if there are I am going to give it a try this weekend. We have 4 inches of snow on the ground so it is perfect. My season in the metro zone goes until Jan 31st. Not even sure if the bucks will have antlers anymore but if it is brown, it's down.
Some but no "fresh" tracks. I am going to check it out at noon tomorrow and see if there are any more with the fresh snowfall. I'm losing faith but am hopeful.
Well no big boys showed up tonight...but was happy to take another doe...I continue to be amazed on how quickly a properly placed arrow dispatches a deer. One last hunt in the morning...
Awesome! Nice nanny Matt. I'm guessing considering the lack of tracks and the football games this weekend I'm not going out for a hunt. We are getting another 1-2 inches tonight so we will see.
I see Ruttnut got his buck entered for us and that puts us into 9th place, just need his doe entered too . Congrat's on the doe Matt. Rocky
