I've clocked in 45 minutes early the last four days and I'll clock in an hour and a half early tomorrow. I will leave work at 10:30 and head to Kentucky. Those deer have to move sometime.

Oh, no, no reason to be sorry at all. It was way too early in the season and there wasn't much online activity. That early in the season the opener is still quite a way off for most people.

Got my Gilly suit in yesterday. Two green for my liking to fake looking. So I went to my pre-Dug hole and gave it a mud bath. I'm gonna let it stay underground till Monday, then I'm gonna take it out and sun-dry it. Then I'll comb all the clumps of mud out of it, so it looks more natural. Got my wetsuit boots in too. I'm gonna try those this afternoon still hunting. I walked around in the yard with them. I can feel every little thing under my foot, which is awesome. This afternoon will be a good test to see if they're warm or not. I'm leaning towards no, LOL but we will see. I'll be posting my updates hunting this afternoon in here. Well opening morning is tomorrow morning and I'm camping at deer camp tonight so I don't have to drive out in the morning it's a high of 72 and low of 52 for tomorrow with a 8-10 mph wind out of the east south east witch is great for my stand near their bedding area because it will blow my sent away from the bedding area and right out of the woods to the bean field next door Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Well...frustrating. Inconsistent wind, temps warmed quickly this aftetnoon (near 80) and only one shot opportunity but it was an early (big) fawn. Saw 2 @ 80 yds, 2 does and two (late/vety small) fawns feed into about 30 yds but stayed in some thick stuff then the lone fawn @ 20 wide open. On the 3 mile hike out, I had plenty of time to think how bad hauling a big doe out of there would suck...
