Saw 1 in some thick stuff. Couldn't tell what it was. I'm back home. Debating on going back out. 75 degrees. Nothing has been moving until dark in those conditions.
Hey guys I just got home about 2 hours ago. Rough rough week of hunting but I can’t say that I didn’t give it my all. We got 2 deer down in our 6 man group and I did pass some smaller bucks I wouldn’t have been happy with. I’m currently going through and reorganizing my gear to head out tonight. I’m going to head to the property that went up for sale before I left both tonight and in the morning in hopes of catching up with one of the 3 that were hitting scrapes. Mud that’s tough luck on that buck, keep your head up and keep grinding! He’ll come back. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
That’ll be a fun camp with some fantastic weather Brett! Good luck man Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Bought my tags and habitat stamp tonight. 4 days of work this coming week and I'm good to go. Private land offers aren't panning out like I had hoped. Looking like it is going to be all public land going in blind. One thing in my favor is the first half of November, anything can happen anywhere
I’ve had 2 really good sits both last night and this morning. Saw 9 deer last night with 2 being bucks and saw 4 bucks this morning and a couple does. I have a birthday party this afternoon for my grandma so I may take the evening off. Temps plummet overnight and I’ve decided to take tomorrow and Tuesday off as well. I will be out both morning and evening and then evenings the rest of the week. If I remember right we have a lot of rutcations coming up very soon! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Just knowing people are off work and there will be a lot of hunting going on gets me so pumped up! I just love seeing dead deer lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'll be off from Friday through Sunday the 19th. Public land, going in blind, hour drive each way... confidence isn't high, but 17 days straight starting early November anything can happen at any place at any time.
My twin boys got to track my dad's doe this morning. Man, it was awesome to say the least! They are 7 and it was their first time tracking and they tracked her through a ton of thick junk and found her. So much fun this morning with my dad and my boys! My dad is HuntinKB51 on team 10.
Nothing more than the sequence that invented the word awesome. Losing too much of this as we get older
