Yesterday I was out for the evening hunt. Saw 1 small doe. Maybe a fawn. 89+ yards. I'm out again today this evening same area as last night. 40 yards difference.
I only saw 1 deer this am sit but if had a bigger rack I would have killed him. I had just stood up and was looking around due I heard a noise and was looking for whatever made the sound. I looked over my right shoulder and there he was 38 yards away. 3 pt. He took another step or two then stopped again. Looking around, he walked again and again he stopped. Looked around. He did this to 24 yards then he walked out to 43 yards slowly stopping once. Then he disappeared. I had my left hand on my bow , but when I noticed he was A 3 pt (not legal), I removed my hand from my bow. So close.
Was out tonight. Kicked one bedded walking in and did not see another. Very bummed. Will continue to grind. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I haven't been out since I shot my doe. Been busy at work and I'm waiting for prime time to go get a buck. I don't want to over hunt or put to much pressure until it's go time. Hopefully prime time in the woods lines up with my time off of work which is October 28th-November 14th! About time for another deer to go on the score card from our team. Keep up the good work guys!
Guys, I am laying low waiting on a giant to show for now. I can shoot a doe at anytime i want but am hoping for a bonus buck. It is going to warm up for a few days but after that the temp is going to drop going into next week. I think this will be the best chance of the whole season. Do not miss it!
The last 2 days my cams have exploded with buck activity. Ill be out this evening and tomorrow morning.
