When do your seasons start? Mine starts the 19 of April and ends on the 31 of May. And I can take 2 birds!

    Hey Fellas!

Checking in here. I will be hunting Western, Nebraska. The archery season opened last Saturday, March 15th and will continue through May 31st at the end of Shotgun season. There are some mighty big toms in that Pine Ridge area! I am allowed up to three birds, but I only bought two tags for now.

It is good to have you! I shot my first turkey two years ago and was hooked instantly. Getting it done with a bow is an awesome feeling. I doubt I will ever shoot a turkey or deer with a gun. It's an addicting sport.

So I thought that archery in NE opened on March 15th, last saturday. BUT it looks like it doesn't open until March 25th. Shotgun opens Arpil 12th so I am gonna try and get out at least once before then. Looking at my first turkey trip of the year to be the weekend of April 5th through the 7th. Can't wait!

I'm looking for my first bird too, I had a huge opportunity at huge tom last year and blew the shot. Came very close 2 years ago as well. Looking to finally seal the deal!!

Buck master checking in!!!!!!!! My season starts April 28th and ends May 4th. Hunting a piece of property that has never been turkey hunted. It's right by our house and there is deer and turkey out there everyday. By the way, if ur lookin for a captain, I would love to volunteer to be the captain. I'm homeschooled and almost done with school, so I would have plenty of time to update the thread or ect. Btw, are we coming up with a team name? If so, I like thunder hawks or thunder chickens.

I would also volunteer to be a captain. If anyone else wants to do it then we will put it up for a vote. I am on the forums everyday and am subscribed to this thread so anytime someone replies I get an update. As for names, I think we should make a list and take a vote

    ^^^ Agreed.

I have no desire to be captain. Lets hear from anyone else who wants to be the captain.

I'm not concerned about being the captain, I'm concerned about killing a turkey. If u need me to be captain, I will. Don't need to though.

So we have Michigan, Minnesota, and Wyoming so far. Still no word from Pearce 92. Quite the spread across the country. I wonder how many subspecies of turkey we can get. I have a chance at eastern and merriam's.
