My name is James - you all can call me Twitch if you'd like. Feel free to follow me on Twitter or Instagram as I will post some updates throughout the season @sycamoretwitch Professionals I'm a health insurance broker.

I hunt primarily in west central Indiana - I have 80 acre lease that I've been hunting the last 5ish years that borders about 220 acres of park (non huntable) timber. Since a buddy and I started leasing this property it's produced 2 130" to 140" deer each year. In past years we've had much bigger deer than that on the property and surrounding properties just unable to seal the deal.

This year - my cameras have been really slow... The property owners had a State grant to kill off all the invasive honey suckle on the property. It's really opened the door for us to hunt some areas that we might not have been able to in the past while also pushing the deer out of long time bedding areas and safe/secure travel through the thick honey suckle.

I only share this - because I've got a couple feelers out for a couple new private land opportunities that I hope to land in the next month. If I can get on a new piece of property it will allow me to keep the pressure off my 80 acre lease while I figure out how all of this spraying is going to impact the movement and overall volume of deer we see. I'm not real optimistic right now and I have no trail camera photos worthy of sharing at this time...

In the middle of October I do have a 2 day outfitter hunt lined up with some clients that will allow me to get in 4 hunts and will be targeted a 150" buck or better on that trip - the property has some bruisers but trying to get in front of one of them in mid/late October will prove difficult. I think last year one of the 8 hunters killed a buck during this same trip. But the trip is really more about drinking beer, eating good food and fellowship - hunting is just a common bond we all share!

And I don't want to be team cap - I am helping a few guys with the State vs. State competition and I don't have time to do both! So anyone who wants that title can speak up and claim it! Can't wait to hear from you all and best of luck this season.

Here, fools! I currently have permission on 40 acres close by and a new 130 acres with permission that I have barely scouted, both here in Missouri. I really don't have any good bucks on camera, but I feel like my odds are still good on both properties. The new farm has one other guy hunting and he only hunts a few days during gun season on the opposite side of the farm from where I'll likely hang and hunt close to beans.

I'll pass on the Capt nod. I'm currently running up against an end of contract situation and am looking for a new job (Cyber Security), so I feel like I wouldn't have enough time here to handle the spot. I know it isn't that hard to do, but pass anyway. Looking forward to a new season and recognize a couple names from teams past. That's pretty neat...

Glad to be aboard and good luck to you all this coming season!

Team name suggestion I have at this point. "Mostly peaceful bowhunters" "November Niners" "All inches matter" "The Wuhan Clan"

I'll think of more that aren't 2020 related later probably.

Ok boys, some know me other maybe not. I'm Fix, I've been chasing the same buck for 3 years and this is my year. I'm a New Yorker and I have been Capitan before and don't mind to but not looking for it. Rather help a new guy with it to be honest. I hunt a 400 acre farm and a buddy hunts the 600acre peice that makes up our 1000 acre block. It's just the two of us but I bring out a few buddies ( even forum members). It's lots of AG fields cut with 15-50acre wood blocks. In the past 3 years I have been on the 3rd place 1st place and last year the 2nd place team. I think the key is participation and everyone killing. I work from home and hunt every day / most days twice. I'll be good for a doe by Oct 10th but can't promise more than that. I look forward to sharing the season with you all.

Side note guy... Please let's keep politics out of the thread. This is a sacred thing and there is so many other places for that derisive crap. Let help encourage each other to having an awesome successful season

I'm here everyone. My name is Shawn Clark, but my real username should be Manofthefall or MOTF for short. I'm born and bred in the great Buckeye state of Ohio. Im an xray tech by night and a deer hunter by day and when season starts, sleep is out the window. When it comes to deer. I've strictly been an Ohio guy, although this year I'm going on a mid October bear hunt in Pennsylvania and I also have a deer tag for the trip so if a nice buck happens to waltz by I can take him out. At this point in time I have a fairly decent hit list and I'll introduce you to all those bucks as well. By the way, I really like the team name All Inches Matter! There is also a good acronym in that name AIM. We want to AIM properly so All Inches Matter! Choosing a #1 buck this year has kind of been difficult. Although he's not my biggest scoring buck this year I'm very partial to a buck I've been watching for three years. Some of you may have already seen him. His name is Mr 6. I first captured pictures of this fine young man in 2018 when he was a fine very spindly 7 point. I really didn't name him then but he appeared in 2019 as a much more mature 6 point. I did have an encounter with Mr 6 last year but somehow he broke off everything on his left side except his brow tine. Now here in 2020 his is a very massive 6 point and I've decided it's time to take him out. I'll post pics of him, 1 each from 18 and 19 then several from this year. 20180928_143015.jpg 20191010_024050.jpg 20200822_010502.jpg IMG_20200822_023920_559.jpg 20200822_010544.jpg 20200822_015752.jpg

I have 5 more bucks on the list so far and looking to add more. I'll be posting them all eventually. I'll try and post in order. I'd have to say my number 2 buck is a buck I call Eye Guard. Here are some pics of Eye Guard. 20200821_191305.jpg IMG_20200816_093528_448.jpg 20200821_190814.jpg IMG_20200821_235659_869.jpg IMG_20200816_093528_450.jpg

Here's my #3. His name is Mr Thick. Why? Because he has some pretty serious mass going on. I believe him to be an older buck. How old? I really have no idea. I have 3 more. One is a fairly new buck I haven't named yet. I need better quality pics of him to give him a name and a rank. But here are 4 and 5. Number 4 is named Ghost, mainly because I only have night time pics of him and I only have 2 somewhat decent pics of him. Number 5 is Super 8. He's a nice wide 8 point but I think he's only a 3 year old so he may actually get a pass. 20200822_140610.jpg 20200822_140538.jpg IMG_20200818_201552_744.jpg IMG_20200818_201552_744.jpg 20200815_232220.jpg

Might as well get this done. Here are some pics of the buck that just recently showed up. If anyone can help name him you can pitch in with a name. IMG_20200829_155028_424.jpg IMG_20200829_155028_420.jpg 20200829_154505.jpg 20200829_151533.jpg 20200829_151450.jpg

    Humpy checking in!

The name is Jonathan, Jon whatever you wanna call me. Last name is Humphrey that’s why I use Humpythahunter. I’m from Upper East Tennessee and hunt a 48 acre farm that my wife and I own. Also hunt a lot of public. Also have permission from a friend of mine to hunt his farm which has produced some nice deer in exchange for turkey on my farm. Currently a manager at a grocery store but still have plenty of time to hunt. My wife and I are expecting our second but not until April. Should be a fun year for me!

I have 3 quota drawing. Two at Oak Ridge first and second weekend of November. Last one is after thanksgiving in Land Between Lakes which is known to produce some hell of nice deer. Depends on the action behind the house if I go to those hunts.

I like AIM or Wuhan Clan!

A few deer I know are alive on the farm still, not really targeting a specific buck but shoot what makes me happy and gets my blood going. We have a lot of deer move in and out.

I had the velvet hunt this past weekend and had the buck in velvet come by me at 57 yards. Never did get closer. Was awesome to see him, another 8 and a smaller buck come by. As for getting the 50 points for a doe should be able to get that done (knock on wood) and if it comes to it my first oak ridge hunt is doe only, 3 available. Oak ridge has a ton of doe to take out.
