Change of plans fellas - my buddy flying in from Utah called, last minute family emergency and had to miss flight - pushing trip back to Saturday evening arrival now. I'll be working next two days instead (but hope to hunt once before work) and taking 4 days off work next week.

...so my daily hunt updates will be starting about when Joe's are done...more fun for the team anyway...

The only hard part will be working the next couple days with all the activity Joe has reported in his IL forum thread.

Don't worry about sitting. Take care of your family and enjoy the time that you have left. You and your family are in our prayers, Dean.

Tomorrow the wife, baby and I lose the big boys and go on a trip. I did find a Sportsmans Warehouse and another pro shop, Dead On Archery, that I am planning on checking out while the boy and myself are free to roam. Be an early start in the morning. Hopefully, some lighted nocks can come home with me so I can take my bow out coyote hunting with some friends from work.

Still awaiting results from my interview, but I'm feeling pretty confident. My superintendant gave me the impression that he knows what is going to happen. I will probably find out Monday, just because I'm taking Veteran's Day off.

    Quick update,
Hunted both yesterday and today till 8:30 before work. Just one spike buck this morning, yesterday say 7 (6 does, 1 8pt)...one big doe was closing in for a shot and she looked right up at me - the leaves have fallen since I set that stand and it's in the wrong tree:) I moved it about 10 yards this morning before I left into a skinny cedar that also has oak limbs around it so much more covered now. Saw good buck walking out Thurs also.
My buddy finally found a flight for late Saturday night so we won't get to cabin until 2:00 am Sunday...quick sleep, and then at least 4 straight days of hunts for me - excited, should be prime time.

Good luck to everyone else - stop in and give the team an update...

No lighted nocks. Apparently it's illegal to hunt with then in idaho. I might get some monday, depending in the funds in the bank after this trip. God luck to you guys who are out.

Coffee's brewing getting all my gear checked over for my all day sit! Hopefully today is the day that Team 9 moves back to the top :) Good luck to everyone hunting this weekend. Luke if you shoot a big/little one give me a call or a text I will only be hunting about 15 minutes from Black River and would love to see the buck first hand. Especially if you need help tracking. My cell # is 715 two zero 6 0 one six 8. That goes for any of the other members shoot me a text or give me a call when you shoot one. I may not be able to come give you a hand for those out of WI but can share in your excitement.
