**** Team 9 Double Lung Liquidators *****

I'm up in the tree now. It's almost been a week since I've been out lol. I had a doe trot by while I was getting squared away in the tree. I'm hunting a trail intersection where I have seen deer twice so far this season. Still no bucks though. Didn't even get that buck on camera again. I'm starting to think I'm just in the wrong spot and need to scout more. Anyone seeing rubs or scrapes yet?

 

Hey chris! I haven't seen any rubs, or new scrapes yet. I really haven't been out looking to much for them though, trying to stay out as much as possible. I'm heading out sunday morning from a 430 am-11am sit out on the stream, then will be hanging that digital scrape dripper with a trail camera to kick things up a bit!!!

No bucks tonight. I had two does and a fawn come to 25 yards but didn't offer a shot. I hadn't decided if I was going to shoot or not anyways.

I've been considering putting a dripper up over my camera and doing a mock scrape. My only problem is that I haven't seen that buck in about 6 weeks so I'm not sure he's still in the area. If I just plop it on a doe trail do you think it'll attract bucks to come take a look anyways?

I'll be going this weekend for the first time since opening day(Sept 7th) don't know what to expect since my place has been invaded by bears but hopefully Oct 14th I'll take care of one bear. During the weeks since opening day it's been a roller coaster was bowless for about a week but the bow I traded for got here last Monday so in just over a week I'm already shooting it better than than my Elite pure. Here's a picture of my Elite tour. She's not fast but she's definitely a tack driver an super smooth

Sweet looking bow! Luke that buck is a stud...hope you get a crack at him! Heading out in a few minutes to do some scouting on the new farm I started hunting. Of course I will have my bow with me in case something comes along but mostly scouting before the rain for this upcoming weekend which is the "youth hunt" here in WI. I will be taking my 13 yr old son out and can't wait.

Well, I hope you guys hunt hard tonight. I'm staying over in the office to prepare for a shutdown next week. On a lighter note, I got my oldest a bow for his birthday tonight. I'll put a whisker bisquit and a Tru-Glo 4 pin on there for him. He's going to be so excited. His excitement makes this whole thing worth it.

 

Hunted this morning and tonight and saw 1 little buck. Going again in the morning if the weather permits!

Nothing this morning. Raining tonight so I didn't go. Pulled my cards and the buck i'm after was under the stand I was not in last night! I won't get back out until Tuesday morning.
